SIRE AND DAM NOMINATIONS

Sire and dam nominations for SSHBEA registered stallions and mares are accepted annually from January 1st through July 31st of each year at a fee of $100. (Nominations may be made during the month of August at a fee of $200, but absolutely no nominations will be accepted after August 31st.)

BENEFITS OF NOMINATION INCLUDE:

·   The opportunity to exhibit your stallion or more during the SSHBEA World Championship Show in September.

·   A showcase for your customers' foals (weanlings, yearlings and two-year-olds) to earn higher payback while qualifying for World Championship competition.

·   Cash awards to the nominator of the sire or dam of the winner and reserve winner in each of these classes:

    WEAN LINGS - Open Handlers                             YEARLINGS - Open Handlers                               TWO-YEAR-OLD Open Shod

    WEAN LINGS - Amateur Owned/Trained             YEARLINGS - Amateur Owned/Trained               TWO-YEAR-OLD light Shod

    WEAN LINGS - Heritage Class'                             YEARLINGS - Heritage Class'                               TWO-YEAR-OLD Trail Pleasure

*Entries in the Heritage Class must have two spotted SSHBEA registered parents.

·   FREE printed recognition in the Official World Championship Show Program,

·   FREE advertising through publishing of nominated sires/dams in SSHBEA magazine and newsletter,

·   Incentive Awards Eligibility,

·   Breeders' Choice Award Eligibility.

NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Sire or Dam must be SSHBEA registered by July 31st of the year the nomination is made.

2. Sire or Dam nomination fee must be paid at the time the nomination is made:

    a. $100 between January 1st and July 31st.

   b. $200 during the month of August,

3.  All nominations must be made in writing. (Phone nominations are not accepted.)

4.  There will be no refunds, changes, or substitutions (before or after the deadline) once a nomination has been made.

5.   Nomination fee for Sire or Dam must be paid annually in order for that year's weanlings to be eligible for nomination.

6.  Nominator and owner must be current SSHBEA members in good standing.

7.   All requirements must be met before a dam's weanling or any of a stallion's weanlings are eligible for nomination.
